香港エクスプレスとは？
香港エクスプレス（HK express）は、香港を拠点とする格安航空会社(LCC)です。1993年に設立され、当初は貨物輸送に特化していましたが、2004年に旅客便の運航を開始しました。現在では、アジア各地への路線を運航しています。創業以来、サービス向上と先進技術の導入に力を入れており、価格と利便性のバランスが良いことで人気を集めている航空会社の一つです。

Role Purpose
- To carry out inflight safety and security procedures;
- To conduct in-flight and beverage sales and duty free sales;
- To work as a team to deliver customer services activities to fulfill the passengers’ needs and enquiries.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum age of 18
- University graduate or above
- Minimum arm-reach of 208cm on tiptoe
- Physical fitness to pass the pre-employment medical assessment
- Fluency in English and at least one Asian language
- Have obtained one of the following valid English Proficiency qualifications:
– TOEIC score of 325 for both reading and listening or above;
– TOEFL score 60 or above;
– IELTS 6.0 or above;
– or equivalent in other English language assessment - Previous experience in an airline, hospitality or service industry would be advantageous
- COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate proof
- No criminal record, meeting the relevant requirements of aircrew background checks
Shortlisted candidates will be invited by email to attend our Assessment Day in Osaka in early September 2023. Successful candidates will then be assisted to apply for the work visa subject to completing the pre-employment medical assessment and aircrew background checks. The estimated date of joining for successful candidates will be between October and December 2023.

香港エクスプレスCAになるためには
私の勝手な考えを踏まえた香港エクスプレス対策とメリット・デメリットは以下となります。
TOEICの点数がLC/RCそれぞれ325点以上なければ応募できません。
単に650点以上ではないので、各点数325点以上を事前に取得しておきましょう。
また、残念ながら大卒以上の条件のため、高卒・専門卒の方は参加資格がありません。
それを踏まえたうえで、英語力のアピール、他言語を話せる方はそれを強みにすること、サービス経験があればそれを十分に発揮したES作成が必要になってきます。
１日で全てのアセスメントが行われるため、体力勝負にもなります。
- チームアクティビティ
- チームに分かれて様々なグループワークをしますが、常に笑顔を意識して、積極的に参加することをおすすめします。
- 英語テスト
- 会社についても問われるため、企業研究は念入りにしておきましょう。英語テストはエッセイ作成なので、ライティングに自信がない方は今からでも毎日英語で日記を書く練習をしましょう。
- 面接
- 全て英語面接となり、人によって質問数は異なるとのことです。15分～20分の間にどんどん質問されるので、すぐに答えれる練習や英語で自分の意見をまとめる練習が必要となってきます。
香港エクスプレスはキャセイパシフィック航空と同様、あまり採用がない航空会社ですよね。そのためチャンスは限られていますが、香港に住みたい方や外資を挑戦してみたい方には良い環境で乗務できる航空会社だと思います。

書類さえ通過すれば、面接などのステップは全て1日なところも気軽に受けるには良いですね。
